Backstory: I lived in India for three and a half years where I learned how to thread eyebrows at the age of 12. I only practiced on my family members until I got to college. I was really packed with classes so I decided to start threading eyebrows. I used to walk around campus handing out my cards and charging as little as $5, including me traveling to them. I got great feedback along the way and decided to invest more time and energy into it, until I eventually got to a point where I decided I wanted to do this for as long as I could. College: I ran my business all throughout college; I am so thankful I met so many amazing people, many of whom I call friends. During the middle of the pandemic, I wanted to give back in some sort of way but I financially was not in the position to do so; I went on the introducing my philanthropy initiative, #RECOVERY. Through this initiative, I started providing free services and donating all the tips to a different nonprofit organization each time, all while raising some awareness for them and celebrating their hard work and mission. I also had the opportunity to create my own skincare line, made with natural oils, flowers, and extracts. The products were packed in recyclable containers and packed with biodegradable peanuts. During my senior year, it gained traction and went on to be highlighted on 6abc News and The Temple News. It also I think played a major role in me achieving the role of Student Commencement Speaker for my graduating Class of Fall 2021. And it had to be that because it's not like I graduated with a 4.0 lol. Anyways, that was probably the coolest thing that's happened to me and I am forever grateful. Nowadays: Post-grad, I am six months into my first big girl job. I lived back home with my family for about 11 months in South Jersey. While I lived back home, I had to do house-calls for almost 95% of all of my clients and it was really tiring. Special shoutout to everyone who was so patient with my schedule. It was a hassle but the hustle was necessary. I moved back to Philadelphia a year ago and live in Francisville. Something newer I've implemented through my business is offering an additional discount to teachers, health professionals, and members of the armed forces. And yes, the student discount has always and will always be provided! I also made the decision to go back to the Fox School of Business for my M.S. in Digital Marketing. With less time on my hands, I promise to try my very best to make this process as easy as possible for you. I most recently decided to rebrand a bit and bought new programs to streamline my business process. My goal is to give you the best client experience ever. With these additional costs and tenure, I’ve also reluctantly decided to increase the prices for my services. I am excited about what more I can do through my small business and how I can give back to my community. Moreover, I can't wait to see the reactions of so many more people when I am finished my services. I love love, providing that satisfaction and it is what keeps me going everyday. Thank you for learning about me and I can’t wait to learn more about you 🤍. With Love, Kunti
